Jessica Simpson TEN Inspires Success and Determination

 

New York, New York, June 2015 – Designer, entertainment and style icon, Jessica Simpson, introduces the newest scent to her fragrance portfolio, Jessica Simpson TEN, which is part of a limited edition capsule collection to commemorate the tenth anniversary of her eponymous billion-dollar fashion and lifestyle empire. A follow-up to her highly successful Jessica Simpson Signature release in 2014, Jessica Simpson TEN draws inspiration from her success as a designer and journey as a businesswoman over the past decade.

“Your life is the story you tell the world - Jessica Simpson TEN tells my story. I am humbled when I think back to where we started and all we have accomplished. This fragrance was created in the spirit of celebration and the confidence I feel when I look ahead at all I still hope to accomplish,” says Simpson.

To develop a new scent to represent her decade of influence the singer-turned-mogul worked in collaboration with perfumer, Marypiere Julien, of Givaudan, to create the complex new fragrance. Simpson has always had a special way of connecting with people on a down-to-earth level and this fragrance is a way of sharing her story with all women, making them feel confident in exactly who they are. Jessica Simpson TEN captivates the senses with fruity notes of clementine, starfruit, nectarine, plum and watery fruits. The body of the fragrance encompasses powerful floral bouquets of frangipani, night blooming jasmine, orange flower and tiger lily. A base of vanilla, white chocolate bean accord, sandalwood, tonka bean and driftwood provide a sophisticated and feminine undertone to the scent.

The Jessica Simpson TEN bottle radiates with accents of shimmering gold while the packaging introduces a bohemian sensibility with craft-paper detailing, mirroring the tenth anniversary theme. A single, elegant matte white feather graces the top of the bottle; a symbol of the brand’s free spirited style and sense of modern Americana. “The feather represents truth and lightness and is symbolic for me; it has become an icon we are carrying throughout the collection,” notes Simpson. An ad campaign was shot in the California desert at Club Ed, the same location of the collection’s very first campaign ten years ago. Shot by renowned photographer, Michael Thompson, the campaign captures the spirit of the anniversary and essence of Simpson’s sultry bohemian style.

Jessica Simpson TEN will be available online and in-store at Macy’s, Dillard’s, Belk and other fine retailers nationwide in September 2015.
